Gracomsa Alimentaria, as the flagship of the Nuova Secac Group’s food division, was launched in 1982 as a company dedicated to producing margarines, oils and speciality fats for the food industry. Over these three decades of activity we have extended our lines of business towards other sectors with the addition of new products in our catalogue.
Based in Valencia, it is the only 100% Spanish company that operates in the market of fats for the food industry, facing off against large multi-brand multinational companies with own their brands. It also develops customised products that conform to specific product requirements, conditions, and objectives that have been requested.
At Gracomsa we have committed ourselves to promoting and contributing to sustainable development in the company and all the sectors that are important to us. Said commitments are featured in the Sustainability Plan which, in turn, is included in the Company’s Strategy Plan, with policies that have been developed from an approach that includes environmental and economical aspects, fair payments for our workers and collaborators to create an ethical economy that generates, and does not detract, value.
Currently, Gracomsa has facilities with a production capacity of more than 60,000 tons of margarines, oils and speciality fats per year. We sell to all sectors, from the food industry, to the Horeca, Bakery and Retail industries, with a new production centre (Doccas Food), a cutting-edge plant that is within the so-called industry 4.0. Doccas Food represents a new generation of production leaders in Europe that embraces the smart factory concept which enables the highest standards of quality and food control to be reached.
